Let’s Dive in:
Character Breakfasts
Start your day with a delightful character dining experience and meet Rapunzel at one of Disney World restaurants. In case you aren’t familiar with character meals at Walt Disney World Resort are experiences where you can meet your favorite character while having a themed sit down meal or buffet. They are the best way to meet characters as you get more time with the characters, have a better experience overall, and get to eat a good meal win- win right?
Let’s check out where you can meet Tangled characters:
Meet Rapunzel at Akershus
Visit royalty at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, located in the Norway Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. This character dining experience offers a festive Norwegian setting where you can feast on a yummy buffet breakfast and have personal interactions with Rapunzel and other Disney princesses.
It’s important to know that a Rapunzel meeting is not guaranteed here- the Princess schedule changes from day to day, and there is no list to check for your day.
Here is a list of Disney Princesses that rotate at this character breakfast:
- Belle
- Jasmine
- Snow White
- Sleeping Beauty
- Pocahontas
- Mulan
- Cinderella
- Rapunzel
- Ariel
- Alice
- Mary Poppins
- Tiana
Meet Rapunzel at Cinderella’s Royal Table
Step into the grandeur of Cinderella’s Royal Table, situated in the iconic Cinderella Castle at the heart of the Magic Kingdom. This extraordinary character breakfast allows you to dine like royalty while enjoying quality time with a visiting Princess.
The visiting Princess list includes Rapunzel and other Disney princesses. And the same rules apply as above- no guarantees our favorite golden-haired Princess will be there on the day you visit- bummer I know- but here’s a list of potential Princesses you can meet:
- Cinderella (of course- it would be weird if she wasn’t there)
- Ariel
- Snow White
- Jasmine
- Sleeping Beauty
- Rapunzel
- Merida
- Tiana
The most common Disney Princesses at the above character breakfasts are Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, and Jasmine. Followed up by Tiana and Rapunzel. Since Merida no longer has a traditional character meet and greet she now sometimes shows up at these character breakfasts.
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno (Pre-Pandemic)
Note: This experience is no longer available
Previously, guests could embark on a delicious adventure with Rapunzel and other loved Disney character couples at the Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno, located at Disney’s BoardWalk. Although this amazing character meal is no longer available, it was an awesome experience that allowed guests to enjoy a truly delicious breakfast while interacting with Rapunzel and Flynn RIder, and Ariel and Eric from “The Little Mermaid.”
We had a chance to do this in 2019, and I’m so glad we did, as I had no idea it would be our last chance (maybe) to do so! I would do this character breakfast again in a heartbeat!
I’m so bummed as it WAS where to meet Flynn Rider at Disney World (AKA Eugene Fitzherbert for those of us who are really into Tangled). There were and are no other direct or guaranteed meet and greet locations as of the writing of this post in March of 2024.
But read on to see where you can see your favorite sarcastic Prince and long locked Princess, and her best friend Pascal. Also, check out the last section where I talk about special events- that’s always a great place to meet rare characters like Flynn Rider!
Princess Fairytale Hall
For a truly royal experience, head to the Princess Fairytale Hall in the Fantasyland area of the Magic Kingdom.
You can meet and greet Disney princesses here, including the lovely and spunky Rapunzel. Step into this regal setting and engage with your favorite princesses, capturing memories with photos and receiving autographs.
With its enchanting ambiance and attention to detail, Princess Fairytale Hall provides the perfect backdrop for a fun Tangled encounter. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for the schedule and availability of princess meet and greets. Most of the time, Rapunzel is there, but it’s a great idea to check at the beginning of the day to be sure schedules haven’t changed.
ProTip: If meeting Rapunzel is super important to you, try to go at the beginning of the morning to avoid long lines. At this time, most people will be going to the popular rides, so you can likely get in and out quickly.
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Fare
This charming stage show occurs at the Castle stage just in front of Cinderella’s Castle. It features many of your favorite Magic Kingdom characters, like Minnie Mouse and Mickey, the Fairy Godmother, Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and more!
This show also features- you guessed it- Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, as well as some of our favorite not-so-mean thugs and ruffians.
Festival of Fantasy Parade
To see many characters from Tangled, check out the Festival of Fantasy Parade, a spectacular procession featuring Disney princesses and other beloved characters. This daily parade takes place at 3:00 PM in the Magic Kingdom and showcases stunning floats, elaborate costumes, and enchanting music.
As the parade winds its way through the park, keep an eye out for Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. They will be gracing the parade along with the Tangled tough guy’s crew, bringing the magic of “Tangled” to life right before your eyes.
The Tangled float is so fun- you don’t want to miss it!
Tangled Rest Area
Take a break and immerse yourself in the magical Tangled-themed rest area in the Fantasyland area of Magic Kingdom. Admire Rapunzel’s tower and the beautifully decorated courtyard adorned with lanterns and banners. As you do this you can also make a wish that Disney will give Tangled more than just a rest area!
This rest area also features unique touches such as hidden Pascals in the landscaping, fun “Wanted” posters, and Maximus’ horse shoe prints in the concrete. Don’t forget to explore the Pascal Scavenger Hunt and try to spot the hidden Pascals throughout the area for an extra dose of fun.
At night, this location often has special photo pass (Disney photography service) opportunities where you can get a photo holding a Tangled Lantern!
Bonus Tip—you can also recharge your devices in this rest area. Look inside the logs for USB and charging ports. For more tips on charging stations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, check out this blog!
