Crowd Calendar March 2025
Planning your trip to Disneyland in March works best when you know the crowd levels for each day. While specific crowd predictions can be difficult, we can provide general trends based on recent years. In this section, we will discuss the crowd calendar for March 2025 and provide insights into which days might be busier or less crowded.
Early March
Crowd levels for Disneyland in March typically start out low and it’s often a good time to visit during the first week. In contrast to Walt Disney World in Florida, spring break crowds are more likely to get worse in late March here.
In general, the first two weeks of March, March 1st-15th, are the best days to visit Disneyland in March. The exception to this, for some odd reason, is Mondays. Disneyland is packed on Mondays- year round! Fridays and Saturdays tend to be busy also, but Sundays are usually less crowded.
Continue reading for specific dates that are higher priced Tiers and, therefore, busier.
Mid to Late March
After March 15th, you can expect to see above-average crowds at Disneyland. Typically, the final week of March is the busiest week in the Disneyland Crowd Calendar. This is due to the spring break season in California and many of the surrounding states.
As noted above Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays tend to be more crowded, with mid week being the least crowded. It’s also a great idea to consider school schedules when planning your March trip to Disneyland.
Weather in Southern California in March
Understanding the weather in Southern California during March is helpful for packing appropriately and planning your activities at Disneyland. March is an excellent time of year to visit Disneyland, but keep in mind it could still be a bit cold. Check out my what to wear to Disneyland in March guide to help you pack for the weather!
March temperatures in Southern California are generally pleasant, with an average high of around 70°F (21°C) and an average low of around 52°F (11°C). It’s a great time to enjoy the parks without the scorching heat of the summer months.
While March tends to be relatively dry, some rain is possible. It’s always a good idea to bring a light rain jacket or umbrella just in case.
When planning for your visit to Disneyland in March, keep in mind that mornings and evenings can be a bit cooler, so dressing in layers is recommended. As the day progresses, the temperature typically rises, so you’ll want to be prepared to peel off those layers and enjoy the Southern California sunshine.
Overall, the weather in Southern California in March is favorable for a magical Disneyland vacation. Just remember to check the forecast ahead of time, dress accordingly, and make the most of your time in the park.
Ticket Prices in Disneyland 2025
Knowing the ticket prices for Disneyland in 2025 is super helpful for budgeting and planning your trip. Depending on what day you visit Disneyland the ticket prices will vary based on prior Disneyland crowds in the preceding years, as well as festivals or special events (keep reading below for dates on these events). Ticket prices during certain times of the year are grouped into Tiers, with Tier 0 being the least expensive, and Tier 6 being the most expensive.
Peak Days
On peak days, which typically include weekends, holidays, summer months, and special events, ticket prices may be higher due to increased demand. These days tend to be busier, with high crowds throughout the park. It’s important to consider the following ticket pricing options for peak days:
- Single-Day Tickets: Prices for single-day tickets in March 2025 may range from $154 to $169, depending on the specific date. The highest priced ticket Tier dates for March are the 7-8th, 15th-16th, and 28th-30th, quoted at $169 for a single day ticket. Single day ticket prices are $154-$159 on March 4th-6th, 11th-13th, and 19th-24th.
- Park Hopper Tickets: If you wish to visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on a peak day, a Park Hopper ticket is available at an additional cost. Prices of these add ons may range from $65 to $75. For single day tickets the price would be $65 per ticket per day, while the multi-day park hopper would add $65 to $75 per ticket (not per day) depending on the date.
- Multi-Day Tickets: For a longer stay, multi-day tickets offer better value overall. Prices for multi-day tickets on peak days may range from $310 to $480, depending on the number of days. Of note the multi-day ticket prices DON’T vary in price. They cost the same for any day you visit.
It’s important to note that ticket prices for peak days and busy time periods are subject to change and may vary based on demand and availability.
You may also wish to consider purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass on select dates during a peak season at Disneyland. These additional fee add ons will allow you to make reservations for attractions with Lighting Lane for an additional fee (and get free photo pass too). Disneyland also has the new Premier Pass, which allows you to not have to make any reservations for a Lightning Lane, meaning you can just walk up and ride any attraction with a Lightning Lane. In 2025, the price will range from $300 to $400 per person per day, depending on the date and demand.
Non-Peak Days
If you prefer to visit Disneyland during non-peak days in March, you may enjoy lower ticket prices and potentially smaller crowds. Non-peak days typically include weekdays outside of holidays and school breaks. Here are some ticket pricing options to consider for non-peak days (if you are planning on traveling outside of March):
- Single-Day Tickets: Prices for single-day tickets on non-peak days may range from $119 to $134 for Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets, respectively, but these tiers are not available in March of 2025. The cheapest ticket price for March of 2025 is $154, as noted above.
- Park Hopper Tickets: Depending on the date, park Hopper tickets may be on the low end of the range for multi-day tickets at $65, or for a single-day ticket, they remain $65 per ticket.
- Multi-Day Tickets: Multi-day tickets provide more flexibility and value for a more leisurely visit. Prices for multi-day tickets on non-peak days may range from $310 to $480 or more, depending on the number of days.
Similar to peak days, ticket prices for non-peak days are subject to change and may vary based on demand and availability. It’s best to check the official Disneyland website for the most up-to-date pricing information and any current discounts or promotions that may enhance your visit.
By understanding both peak and non-peak ticket pricing options, you can choose the best ticket option for your budget and preferences. Read on to learn more about special events which may impact your date choices for your spring Disneyland trip!

Best Time of Day to Visit Disneyland in March
When planning your visit to Disneyland in March, it’s essential to consider the best time of day to visit. By strategically choosing the right time to go, you can avoid long lines and crowded areas.
One tip for determining the best time of day to visit Disneyland in March is to arrive early in the morning. There will be fewer crowds during the first few hours after opening. This gives you the chance to experience popular attractions with shorter wait times. Plus, the morning hours tend to have cooler temperatures, making it more comfortable for exploring the park.
Our family usually makes it a priority to rope drop any time we visit Disneyland. This means getting to the gates about 30 minutes (or more) before the posted opening hours. If we are staying on site we always take advantage of Early Entry- where you are officially let in 30 minutes before. For early entry it’s best to arrive 15-20 minutes before early entry starts (i/e 45-50 minutes before the park officially opens).
Another option to consider is visiting Disneyland in the late afternoon or evening. As the day progresses, some guests may start to leave the park, resulting in shorter lines for attractions. Additionally, the nighttime ambiance at Disneyland is so magical, the lights and the attractions are even better at night!
It’s also important to check the park’s operating hours for the specific day of your visit. Disneyland often extends its opening hours during peak times, providing more opportunities for you to enjoy the park.
