3 of the BEST Disney Dining Reservation Finder Services you NEED to Use for Your Next Disney Vacation!
Disney Dining Reservations have become almost as competitive as scoring first place in line on Rise of the Resistance! Thankfully, we now have apps for that!
This blog is all about the 3 BEST Disney Dining Reservation finder apps and services out there!
These tools utilize advanced algorithms and real-time data to scour the vast array of available dining options, ensuring that you never miss out on your favorite restaurants. One such app is “Mouse Dining,” which helps remove the frustration of booking Disney dining reservations and can alert you when a spot opens for your desired restaurant, date, meal, and time, for either Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Another popular option is “Stakeout,” an app that allows guests to set up alerts for their dream Disney restaurant reservation and get alerts if that dream option becomes available. Lastly, “Mouse Watcher” stands out as a great option- just enter your desired restaurant, 3 target date options, and your contact info and they will send you an alert when they find an opening, along with a clickable link.
Popular Disney Dining Reservations
Dining at either Walt Disney World or Disneyland can be a lovely and memorable experience- but getting that reservation can actually be quite stressful! It is competitive, sometimes more so at Disney World, but Disneyland being smaller can be difficult too. Advanced Dining Reservations (or ADRs as they can often be referred to) are available to book 60 days ahead of time online or via the app for either Disneyland or Walt Disney World.
As far as snagging difficult reservations at Walt Disney World, these are some of the most difficult Disney Dining Reservations to get:
- Space 220 and Space 220 Lounge
- Topolino’s for breakfast
- ‘Ohana
- Akershus
- Be Our Guest
- Sci-Fi Dine-In
- California Grill, it’s popular at any time but particularly during the fireworks. But, if you keep your receipt, you can come back to watch the fireworks from the observation deck, granted the receipt must be from the same day.
- Chef Mickey’s
- Cinderella’s Royal Table
- Story Book Dining at Artist Point
- Roundup Rodeo
- Beaches & Cream (again, the low capacity can make it difficult to get)
- Homecomin’ (this one can sometimes be difficult to get; if you can’t snag something online you can also try calling 407-560-0100)
- Victoria & Albert’s (this is an extremely expensive experience so not one of the most commonly sought-after)
- Garden Grill is quite popular but not quite as difficult as the above restaurants
- Homecomin’ (this one can sometimes be hard to get, if you can’t find one you can try and call 407-560-0100)
- Victoria & Albert’s (this is an extremely expensive experience so not one of the most commonly sought-after)
At Disneyland, the most competitive reservations can be found at:
- Blue Bayou
- Tiana’s Palace
- Lamplight Lounge
- Carthay Circle
- Oga’s Cantina
- Trader Sam’s
- Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose
If you are trying to make a reservation for any of these popular spots it’s best to wake up bright and early. For Walt Disney World the reservation booking begins at 6:00 AM EST, and for Disneyland, it’s 6:00 AM PST. Best Disney Dining Reservation Finder Services and Tools
Technology to the rescue! Because of the difficulty getting dining reservations, those more technologically savvy than I came up with a solution- Disney Dining Reservation Finder services. Some are free, some are paid, and some offer free and paid options (more to come on this). The basics behind these services are that you have to know what reservations you are looking for and have a few dates and/or times in mind. The more flexible you are the more chance you have of snagging a difficult Disney Dining Reservation with one of these finders.
1. Mouse Dining
This is one of the very best Disney Dining Reservation Finder services as they offer both paid and free options. You can get 6 free (email only) alerts, and above that, you bump up to the paid version. For $9 dollars per month, you can get 50 alerts (both text and email), and for $90 per year, you can 100 alerts (both text and email). The free version is usually enough for most families (unless you prefer texts), but frequent visitors, annual pass holders, or travel planners may want the paid versions.
On the Mouse Dining site, you can browse by category including:
- Dining
- Tours
- Character Dining
- Food and Fun
- Seasonal events
2. Stakeout
Another great Disney Dining Finder tool to score hard to get Disney Dining Reservations is Stakeout. This is available as an app, setting it apart from the other tools that are browser-based.
Stakeout lets Walt Disney World and Disneyland guests set up alerts for their desired ADR. If that ADR becomes available you will get an alert on your phone and then you can head straight to the My Disney Experience App or the Disneyland app and snag that reservation! You can get 1 stakeout with 1 restaurant for free. Anything above that you will have to pay for through the in-app upgrades.
Download Stakeout on your App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Mouse Watcher
MouseWatcher is another tool to provide Walt Disney World or Disneyland Dining alerts for popular ADRs. You can pay for individual alerts ($5 for a 2-day alert) or purchase a subscription. This service does not offer any free alerts but you can tailor your subscription to meet your needs. Options include:
- $19/month – 5 active alerts
- $49/month – 15 active alerts
- $79/month – 25 active alerts
- $99/month – 35 active alerts
- $139/month – 50 active alerts
MouseWatcher checks for reservation availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and if they find one they will alert you either by text or email, and the alert will include the booking link to take you straight to your Disney account so you can book the reservation fast.
